To be eligible for the ITIL Intermediate qualification Service Operation examination, the candidate must have fulfilled the following requirements:

► IT Development Practitioners
► Individuals who require a business and management level understanding of the ITIL Service Lifecycle and how it may be implemented to enhance the quality of IT service provision within an organization
► Individuals seeking the ITIL Expert in IT service provision within an organization
► Individuals seeking the ITIL Expert in IT service management certificate, for which this qualification is the final mandatory module
► Individuals seeking progress towards the ITIL Master in IT service management, for which the ITIL Expert in IT Service Management Certificate is a prerequisite.

Prerequisite
Candidates wishing to be trained and examined for this qualification must already have:

► Two (2) credits from the ITIL Foundation certificate*
► Must have obtained a further minimum 15 credits with ITIL Service Lifecycle or Service Capability qualifications
► An accredited training by an accreddited training provider

*Or the Foundation certificate in IT Service Management (based on ITIL) (version 2) in combination with the ITIL Foundation bridge certificate

► Type : Ten (10) Multiple Choice Questions , Scenario based, gradient scored questions ,Each question will have 4 possible answer options, one of which is worth 5 marks, one is worth 3 marks, one is worth 1 mark and one is a distracter and achieves no marks.
► Duration : 120 Minutes
► Prerequisite : ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (or other appropriate earlier ITIL and bridge qualifications)
► Completion of an Accredited course from an ITIL Accredited Training Provider
► Must have obtained a further minimum 15 credits with ITIL Service Lifecycle or Service Capability qualifications
► Supervised : Yes
